Wingman Bio
A few years ago, when I was planning one of my workplace’s annual amusement park trips, I mentioned that I could get one of our 15 passenger vans free parking with my season pass since we were going to Six Flags Great Adventure (SFGAdv). That when Reid told me he has one too, but he needed to get it registered. I told him I’d take him down to Six Flags America (SFA), our home park, to register it, if he wanted. He said sure.
The next week we made the trip down to SFA, got his pass registered, and hit up some rides. The entire day I was telling him how much he was going to love SFGAdv. He had already looked online and saw some awesome videos. Naturally, Kingda Ka and El Toro stood out to him, but I told him not to sleep on Bizarro, Superman Ultimate Flight, Bizarro, and especially, Nitro.
Long story short, Reid loved SFGAdv and two of his favorite coasters come from the park. It’s hard to argue that El Toro isn’t one of the best, if not the best, wooden coasters ever built. Nitro, while a favorite of mine, doesn’t appeal to everyone with it’s floater airtime, but Reid loves it. He also loves Candymonium at Hersheypark, which he rode during a Season Passholder Preview.
Other than SFGAdv, I’ve also been able to get Reid out to Knoebels a couple of times as well as Kings Dominion. He enjoyed his time at both parks and can’t wait to visit some new ones, hopefully soon. We’ve been eyeing up Nickelodeon Universe at the new American Dream Mall in New Jersey. That will give us both a new park as well as some new credits. I know Brad is really looking forward to that, as is Elaina and Sam. Looks like a We Were Inverted Crew trip is in order.
