At the end of March in 2021, Sam and I took an impromptu trip to Six Flags America (SFA). It was pouring down rain, but we were both free and Sam had been trying to secure her Joker’s Jinx credit since the previous summer. We managed to do just that, but in the process, we got drenched getting in countless rain rides.

Because we got so wet during our visit, we decided to jump onto the Penguin Blizzard River for the first time. It wasn’t like we weren’t already soaked. That is when we met Kaylee. She works at the park and just so happened to be stationed on top the ride’s lift hill. She waved to us and recognized us from the We Were Inverted’s Instagram account (@WeWereInverted_IG). She sent us a message later on saying she saw us at the park while riding Penguin.

Long story short, Kaylee and I kept in contact on social media and decided to meet up at Six Flags Great Adventure (SFGAdv) not too long after our chance encounter at SFA. Since then we have also hit up a few other parks such as Knoebels, Kennywood, and then our infamous stop to Fun Fore All. She fits right in with our fun loving, laid back crew. I’m sure you’ll be seeing her name pop up in a lot more blogs moving forward.
