I am happy to announce We Were Inverted’s newest Flight Crew member, Mindy’s daughter, Mailyn. Mailyn debuts jumping as a Rank 9 Lieutenant. Mailyn has been mentioned in several of my blogs over the past year, most notably the August 2020, “Summer of Sam – Hersheypark Work Trip.” That was our most recent trip togethe. As her Rank 9 shows, however, she’s been to quite a few parks with me. As a matter of fact, she has credits that both I and her mom don’t even have.
Mailyn is excited to be featured on the site. She’s not only attended parks with her mother and me, but several other crew members as well, including Sam, Jason, and Elaina. I always invited Mindy out to our annual work trips, even after she took another job elsewhere. I also welcomed her family to come along and Mailyn was always sure to attend. As a matter of fact, she’d even do so when Mindy could not. That’s how she has visited both Kings Dominion and Dorney Park where as her mom has not. She attended both of those with her father, Dave.
While we haven’t determined Mailyn’s credit count yet, some of her notable coasters include: Intimidator 305, Twisted Timbers, Skyrush, Candymonium, Great Bear, Phoenix, Lightning Rod, Nitro, El Toro, and Kingda Ka. Many of those coasters were the ones she was considering when I asked her to pick her favorite steel and wooden coasters too. Be sure to check out her page to to see which ones she ultimately picked. I think you’ll be impressed as a fellow enthusiast.
Busch Gardens in 2021?
I’m certain the future will see Mailyn visiting more and more parks with the crew and myself. I know she’s already looking forward to going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) for her first time. I’ll definitely be sure to invite Chris D. and Carrie along. I’m thinking Mailyn and Carrie would get along great and have a blast on the likes of Apollo’s Chariot, Alpengeist, Griffon, and Verbolten.
“I’m due for another park,” said Mailyn while discussing her favorite coasters.
As for Busch Gardens, “We are going during the summer for sure,” Mailyn added.
I can’t wait. She’ll get to add even more awesome coasters to her credit list, Pantheon hopefully being among them. Maybe we’ll even stop by Kings Dominion for her mom to finally be able to say she’s went there too. Right Mindy?
