(London, UK) – Joseph Fells, a self-professed “illustrator and coaster nerd,” is back on Kickstarter seeking pledges for his Theme Park Collection – Series 2 line of acrylic pins. Series 2 offers pin designs featuring his Legend Beyond Imagination (Nemesis, Alton Towers) and Thy Fate is Chosen (Dueling Dragons, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure) designs.
This project currently has 21 backers with 11 days left to pledge. The goal of £300 ($394.50 US) has already been met. It’s now onto stretch goals, which includes a Mako pin at £500 ($657.50) and six more pin designs that could potentially follow. These stretch goals would have to be made before the Saturday, September 5, 2020 deadline to be unlocked.
Earlier this year, Fells successfully funded his first series of the Theme Park Collection pins that resulted in the creation of his Hive Dive (Fury 325, Carowinds) and Night Rides Only (Beast, Kings Island) designs. Both of those pins can be seen above and are two of the pins found on the We Were Inverted Pin Collection page.
Several stretch goals were also set for the first run, including designs for Maverick, Dueling Dragons, as well as Mako. Sadly, those goals were not met, allowing Mako to return to the first tier of stretch goals for Series 2. Those who submitted to the higher tiers were still able to pick up some great extras with his first project nonetheless. Those extras included stickers, t-shirts, and posters featuring some of Fells’ other illustrations. You can view some of those on his Etsy store, Theme Park Collection.
